Dick Clark Productions, TNT and the NBA will be broadcasting the very first NBA Awards show right after the Championship finals have ended. The show will be aired on TNT on Monday, June 26 at 9 p.m.

Right now, all eyes are on the intense rivalry of the champion Cleveland Cavaliers and their nemesis the Golden State Warriors. This is the rubber match for the two teams that have met in the finals for the last three years. As you probably recall, The Cavs astounded the world by doing something no NBA team had ever done previously. They came back from a 3-1 deficit and won the championship.

To make the event super cool, Drake is going to be hosting. The overly talented performer and platinum selling recording artist will definitely give the show the element of cool that it deserves.

The shebang is going down at Basketball City at Pier 36 in New York City. That's going to add an extra layer of awesome to what is sure to be an exciting night, since, well, you know--NYC rocks hard!
